If music be the food of love, play on.” – William Shakespeare
Cappella Martialis performs songs inspired by 16th century poetry written by literary masters like Shakespeare. Be entertained as they put music to prose of the past.
Cappella Martialis, Singapore’s only early music ensemble, coalesced in 2011 as a group of singers enthused about the lesser-known gems of the choral tradition from the Baroque and before.
